The Complete Story of the Deathmask Legion: All 15 Masks Explained

Eight were forged. Four were cast out. Two remained. One was crowned.

The DEATHMASK LEGION™ didn't arrive as fifteen rings. It arrived as eight, and then it fell apart in three stages. This is the whole thing, in order, from the first oath to the last mask standing.

ACT ONE — THE EIGHT

Eight masks were forged as a single company. Eight oaths, one line, and a hierarchy that held until it didn't.

1. The Shattered Silencer™

The first mask cast, and the oath the other seven swore to. A voiceless enforcer whose cracked jaws once silenced the cries of the damned, now fractured in permanent restraint. Everything in the Legion starts here.

2. The Iron Lungbreaker™

Ribbed contours built as a cage. It collapsed defiance and took the breath with it, turning every gasp into surrender. Forged where warriors were broken by weight alone.

3. The Iron Horrorspike™

The frontline enforcer. Spiked protrusions that skewer hesitation and embed dread, sculpted in forges where pain was made permanent. It ended more sieges than any other mask of the eight.

4. The Iron Executioner™

Judgment made wearable. Honed features built to deliver swift, unforgiving ends. Legion justice was never argued — it was carried out.

5. The Warforged Sentinel™

The unblinking guardian. A plated structure that held lines nothing breached, and a watch that outlasted the men who set it. Its post gets taken up again, generations later, by one of the Remnants.

6. The Hollowrage Reaper™

The collector. A hollow form that devours light and hope, moving in after the line held. It sowed defiance and reaped barren fields, and it never raised its voice.

7. THE RAGESTAGED ELDERBANE™

Hunter of ancient oppressors. A patchwork mask made to tear down whatever came before it. Every stitch is a scar it chose to keep.

8. The Black Crown Widow™

The crown, and the end of the founding eight. A queenly mask from royal forges where widows rule the ashes of kings. Her throne of thorns held the eight together — but not for long.

ACT TWO — THE OUTCASTS

Under her reign, four masks broke away. Cast out or walked out; the record doesn't say which, and neither do they.

9. THE VEINRENDER SHADE™ — Outcast I of IV

The first to leave. Exiled for insatiable corruption, bleeding life from shadow and leaving husks. It refused the Widow's crown, and three followed it out.

10. DER EISENMAUL™ — Outcast II of IV

The iron mouth. A maw forged in isolation, where defiance is chewed to nothing. It snarls from the periphery and enforces the law of the outcast.

11. SCHWARZMAUL™ — Outcast III of IV

The black maw. It engulfs light and hope in its jaws, cast in forges of eternal night where eclipses were made into weapons. Where it passed, nothing was left to guard.

12. STUMMKRIEG™ — Outcast IV of IV

Silence as a weapon. The last outcast, whose stillness ended wars the others started. When it was done, only two masks were left standing.

ACT THREE — THE REMNANTS

Two remained. Everything that was left when the smoke cleared, still standing where the line used to be.

13. GRIMMWACHT™ — Remnant I of II

Grim watch over desolate ruins. Risen from ashes it outlasted, etched with scars of battlefields nobody else remembers. It guards a line that no longer exists, because nobody ever told it to stop.

14. BOLZENGRIMM™ — Remnant II of II

The locked survivor. Iron fastenings holding back the embers of a war everyone else abandoned. Forged in the aftermath, where bolts were the only thing left to seal a wound with.

ACT FOUR — THE CROWN

15. NARBENKÖNIG™ — Final of XV

The Scar King.

Not the strongest. Not the loudest. Not the most armored. The last.

The stitches across the jaw are not decoration — they are proof it was broken and rebuilt. The skull is split but not shattered. Scarred but not defeated. Worn but unbowed.

When the eight shattered. When the Outcasts walked. When the Remnants held what was left of the line. This one did not fall. It endured.

NARBENKÖNIG™ reigns. Not because it conquered. Because it survived.

THE FULL SET

Every mask is heavy 316L stainless steel with EasyFit™ semi-hollow construction, 29 grams, numbered in the series. Serious collectors chase the full fifteen because the complete set is the whole arc — the founding oath, the fracture, the last watch, and the crown that outlived all of it.
