Privacy Policy
SkullJewellery.com aka SkullJewelry.com Last updated: August 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SkullJewellery.com aka SkullJewelry.com ("SkullJewellery," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit, interact with, or make a purchase from skulljewelry.com or skulljewellery.com (together, the "Site"), or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services").
By using and accessing any of the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access any of the Services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal information from three sources: information you provide directly, information collected automatically (including through visitor identification technology, described below), and information we receive from third parties.
Information you provide directly includes your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, payment information (processed by our payment providers — we do not store full card numbers), order details, account credentials if you create an account, and the contents of any communications you send us, including customer service messages, product reviews, survey responses, and contest entries.
Information collected automatically includes your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, the pages and products you view, the time and duration of your visit, and how you interact with the Site. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies.
Information from third parties includes information from our vendors and service providers, such as Shopify (our e-commerce platform), payment processors, shipping carriers, marketing and analytics providers, and the identity resolution partners described in Section 2.
2. Visitor Identification and Identity Resolution
Please read this section carefully. In addition to standard analytics cookies, our Site uses a third-party visitor identification technology (sometimes called an "identity resolution pixel"). When you visit the Site, this technology collects information about your visit — such as your device identifiers, IP address, browser characteristics, and the pages you view — and our identity resolution partners may match that information against their own consumer databases to associate your visit with identifiers such as a hashed (encrypted) email address, name, postal address, or phone number that they have previously lawfully collected.
We use information obtained through visitor identification to:
- Understand who visits our Site and which products interest them;
- Send marketing communications, such as emails or text messages, where permitted by law and subject to applicable opt-in and opt-out requirements;
- Build advertising audiences, including by uploading hashed (encrypted) email addresses or other hashed identifiers to advertising platforms such as Google and Meta so that we can show relevant ads to people who have visited our Site or to audiences similar to our customers; and
- Measure and improve the performance of our marketing.
Hashing converts an email address into a scrambled string before it is shared with advertising platforms; the platforms use the hashed value only to match against their own user base and are not provided your plain-text email by us in that process.
Under some U.S. state privacy laws, the disclosure of personal information to identity resolution and advertising partners may be considered a "sale" of personal information or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out. See Section 8 (Your Privacy Rights) and Section 9 (Opting Out) below.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect to:
- Provide the Services, including processing payments, fulfilling and shipping orders, and sending order notifications, receipts, and shipping updates;
- Create and maintain your account and provide customer support;
- Market our products to you, including through email, SMS (with your consent where required), and online advertising, and to personalize the offers and content you see;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and to screen orders for risk;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies; and
- Analyze and improve the Site, our products, and our marketing.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site (for example, keeping items in your cart), to remember your preferences, to analyze Site traffic, and to support our advertising, including the visitor identification technology described in Section 2. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through browser settings; doing so may affect Site functionality. The Site currently does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, but we do honor legally required opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where applicable law requires it.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information with:
- Service providers that perform services on our behalf, including Shopify (our e-commerce platform and payment infrastructure), payment processors, shipping and fulfillment carriers, email and SMS providers, review platforms, customer support tools, and analytics providers;
- Identity resolution and data partners, as described in Section 2;
- Advertising partners, including Google and Meta, with whom we share hashed identifiers and site interaction data (through cookies, pixels, server-side APIs, and audience uploads) to deliver and measure advertising;
- Affiliate networks that help track referrals from our affiliate partners;
- Professional advisors and authorities where required to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, financing, or sale of the business or its assets.
We do not share your text-message opt-in or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order records are generally retained for the period required by law. Visitor identification records are retained only as long as needed for the marketing purposes described above.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any information you send us is transmitted at your own risk.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights under state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, and similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other states):
- Right to Know / Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and information about how we use and share it;
- Right to Delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Right to Opt Out — opt out of the "sale" of your personal information, the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, and certain profiling;
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf where permitted by law. If we decline a request, you may have the right to appeal by replying to our decision.
9. Opting Out of Targeted Advertising and Identity Resolution
You may opt out of the visitor identification and targeted advertising practices described in this Policy at any time by:
- Emailing customerservice@skulljewelry.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," including the email address(es) you would like suppressed;
- Using an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control in a participating browser, where required by applicable law;
- Adjusting your ad settings directly with advertising platforms (Google Ad Settings, Meta Ad Preferences) and industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page at optout.aboutads.info;
- Unsubscribing from marketing emails using the link in any marketing message, or replying STOP to any marketing text message.
Opting out of targeted advertising does not stop you from seeing ads generally; it stops the described data uses on a going-forward basis.
10. Children
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and operational reasons. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
